What is F5 ?
F5 is an Application Delivery Controller[ADC]. It can perform Local & Global Traffic Management and Application Load Balancing. BIGIP is a Software & Hardware Family which runs in the Core of F5 ADCs.
F5 LAB Requirements
The following applications & appliances are required to emulate F5 in a virtual environment.
- VMware [12.x or above] / KVM / Hyper-V
- 2 vPCU[Core] + 4 GB RAM
- BIGIP-VE [11.3 or above]
